Follow ups are important to any business, it is an important role after you have made the initial sales call (cold call).
Follow ups allows you to remind the customer of your offerings and your brand and gives you an opportunity to chat with them. You already have their name, what role they play from your first call, so a follow up is now a warm call.
When you follow up you are able to pose more questions to your intended client, gain more information from them and allows you seek an opportunity.
Follow ups also play a key role in building relationships and keeping existing customers engaged. It improves your customers’ experience with your company, overcomes any issues that may have been faced by your customer and on many occasions you will receive an order or project during your follow up call.
By following up your existing and potential customers, they will feel like they can now trust you, they will know you are not seeing them as just a number but you are genuinely wanting to build a good and solid business relationship.
